Focused Firing is the Dartling Gunner's path 1 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It reduces the spread of the Dartling Gunner's shots by 60% and increases the lifespan of its projectiles by 40%. Crosspathing with Rocket Storm reduces the spread of the ability's rockets by 60%, but does not improve their lifespan.
Note that the improved lifespan is most noticeable on Buckshot and above, although gameplay elements that affect projectile behavior (e.g. bouncing projectiles from Quest #2 of New Dart Just Dropped or the Bouncing Projectiles artifact, and Vortex's shield deflecting projectiles) may also demonstrate the increased lifespan.

Strategy

Increased accuracy from Focused Firing improves consistency of each shot. In practice, it's way too expensive to be worth on a lower-tier Dartling without going for Laser Shock, but may be helpful to improve consistency for middle-path Dartlings, especially M.A.D.
As for the extra lifespan, this is only relevant for Buckshot and above, and in that case it's usually bought in transition to the improved Laser Shock.
