Faster Barrel Spin (BTD6): Difference between revisions

strategy section seems accurate and unchanged since the last time I edited, and the lede needed work because "fire faster" could mean the delay between making a shot is reduced, but precisely it's attack speed that got increased. In science, accurate terms is important, I learned that in high school and the teacher told me to never go vague with terminology

Strategy: in summary, t2 dartlings yes, t3+p1 totally yes, t3+p3 situational but usually 2-0-3+ is better due to more damage from laser shock plus accuracy equating to focused damage

Faster Barrel Spin maximizes attack speed of the Dartling for all its crosspaths. With Tier 2 crosspaths, it's decent for early-game. For top path, Faster Barrel Spin improves single-target damage, and usually stronger than the bottom crosspath for all except Ray of Doom which currently unanimously prefers speed. For bottom path, Faster Barrel Spin is more synergetic with buffs and has more consistency between shots, but lacks the accurate high damage of the top crosspath.
Faster Barrel Spin increases DPS, plus the benefit of innate camo detection. It's a decent crosspath for Tier 2 Dartlings, and optimal on Laser Cannon and above because of top path's already high pierce. For bottom path, Faster Barrel Spin is more synergetic with buffs plus better consistency between shots, but lacks the accurate high damage of Laser Shock crosspath.
