The Blazing Sun is the Desperado's path 1 tier 5 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It increases the damage from 5 to 20 plus 40 Ceramic damage and reduces the cooldown between bursts from 1.2s to 0.3s.
It has a special overheat mechanic where each shot reduces its attack speed by 1%, maxing out at 75 shots (resulting in the same cooldown as the tier 4). However, once it reaches 55 shots each one will trigger a blazing area-of-effect, with 5 pierce and 6 radius, that sets all non-Purple Bloons on fire. The burning damage-over-time does 50 damage every 1.5s for 12.05s, and damages all except Purple Bloons. This resets when it stops attacking.
