Enhanced Freeze is the Ice Monkey's path 2 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It increases the freeze duration from 1.5 seconds to 1.75 seconds and also increases attack speed by 33% (0.75x attack cooldown). Without additional upgrades that increase attack speed, the Ice Monkey attacks every 1.8s.
Duration of all, except the debuff durations from Embrittlement and Super Brittle, increase by the same amount as the freeze duration. Other attack speed benefits from other paths include:
- Super Brittle: 1.8s → 1.35s
- Cryo Cannon: 1.2s → 0.9s
- Icicles and Icicle Impale: 0.75s → 0.5625s

Strategy

Enhanced Freeze is useful for starting Race Events when Mortar Monkey is banned, stalling Super Ceramic Bloons (with 1-1-0), and the Round 21-30 and 31-40 Golden Bloons (with 0-1-2 and 2-1-0, respectively). As a crosspath, it is recommended for Ice Shards regardless of the situation. Enhanced Freeze is recommended Embrittlement and Super Brittle outside of Freeplay and Tier 4/5 Boss Bloons, Cryo Cannon and Icicles when innate Camo detection is not needed, and Icicle Impale when both Acidic Mixture Dip and Radar Scanner can be obtained. In the cases of Ice Shards, Cryo Cannon, Icicles, and Icicle Impale, further crosspathing with Deep Freeze is strongly recommended.
