Hot Shots is the Tack Shooter's path 1 tier 3 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It increases damage from 1 to 2 and grants the ability to pop Lead and Frozen Bloons (note that with Hard Tacks monkey knowledge, all tack shooters can already pop Frozen).

Strategy

Hot Shots serves as a decent early-game, being very solid on maps with good bends but lacking on maps without them. 3-2-0 does significantly more overall damage, due to the greatly improved pierce, and is optimal for most cases. It shines in Race Events, where its high pierce, high attack speed, and 2 damage per tack handles many rounds simultaneously and transitions well into Ring of Fire, which is exceptionally strong in races as well. 3-0-2 performs more single-target damage and can be used for Round 40, and has more raw single-target damage than 2-0-3 (and thus great early-game against Blastapopoulos in Boss Rush), but otherwise not very strong unless upgrading further.
