Monkey City is the Monkey Village's path 3 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It grants a buff to most income-producing towers in range which increases income generated by +20%. Additionally, it increases range of the Monkey Village by +10 units, and grants the player a free Dart Monkey every round.
Mechanics

Monkey City increases the income of most towers by +20% (rounded down to an integer), not including cash from pops. There are several further exceptions; Monkey City does not buff the income of the following:
- Income from popping Lead Bloons with Lead to Gold
- Interest earned by Monkey Bank and subsequent upgrades
- Geraldo's Rare Quincy Action Figure
- Income from the Cash Drop power
Monkey City stacks additively with Valuable Bananas and multiplicatively with Fertilizer.
When buffing the income from Pirate Lord's MOAB Takedown ability, the +20% income from Monkey City stacks additively with other pop income boosts, such as the ones from the ability itself, Monkey Town, Rubber to Gold, and Thrive.
Monkey City has no effect on income from the Monkey Pirates' MOAB Takedown ability despite displaying its buff icon on the tower (it does still gain +50% pop income due to the effects of the Monkey Town upgrade however).
When buffing the income from traps created by a Bloon Trap/XXXL Trap or from Obyn's Wall of Trees ability, Monkey City will grant a +20% income multiplier as well as an additive +20% pop income boost (40% for XXXL Trap) on top of the +50% from Monkey Town. This means that with no other income buffs, a Monkey City would increase the cash generated by a Bloon Trap or Wall of Trees by 62%, or 56% for an XXXL Trap. This is likely due to a bug with how the income bonus is applied.

Monkey City's buffs to cash generation accelerate a Farm-focused strategy, such as BRFs and T5 Farms like Banana Central. The extra range that Monkey City gains also allows more defenses to benefit from all its buffs, including Monkey Town. Its free Dart Monkeys can be useful if needing to place cheap defense in a pinch, as well as Blastapopoulos fodder against its meteors. Maximizing its range via a nearby Village, Take Aim abilities from Deadeye or Bounty Hunter, and/or Overclock is beneficial to allow more towers to be affected by Monkey City buffs.
For crosspathing, 1-0-4 is preferred to maximize its range, while the other crosspaths are situational based on other nearby Villages.
