Recently, we altered Overclock so that buffing a parent tower will also buff all of its child towers (eg sentries). Additionally, in this update we’re fixing a bug with this, meaning that newly spawned child towers will now correctly inherit the buff. With these changes, it makes Sentry Champion incredibly strong but only when buffed up a lot by the likes of Homeland Defense and Overclock. We have decided to change Engineer so that the spawn rate of its sentries can no longer be affected by attack rate buffs, but we have also greatly increased Sentry Champion’s regular damage so that it’s much stronger on its own now. — Update notes

We want Sentry Expert to have a big impact the moment you purchase it so feel it's important to keep the bonus sentries it spawns. 6 bonus sentries were proving to be too much extra damage however so we are dialing it back to 4 to make it a more measured response to a rush. — Update notes
