Introduced Version 57.0

S.P.I.D.E.R. Monkey is the Sniper Monkey Paragon in Bloons TD 6, to be introduced in version 57.0. It is a combination of Cripple MOAB, Elite Sniper and Elite Defender.

The Paragon attacks from an elevated platform where it can shoot over the entire battlefield, ignoring line of sight blockers, also granting this trait to other Snipers using Elite targeting. All Snipers also gain an additional targeting option to follow the Paragon's targeting. It also automatically summons crates with cash over time.

The main attack of the S.P.I.D.E.R. Monkey shoots a powerful bullet that can bounce into an additional target with a slow attack speed, which is increased when Bloons approach the exit (similar to the Elite Defender) and when it continues to attack the same target. After hitting a Bloon, the impact releases shrapnel projectiles that, after a small delay, start tracking nearby targets producing an explosion on contact.

The paragon has two activated abilities:

  • Ammo Swap: It creates a more powerful version of the Offensive Supply Drop crate, which in comparison to the Supply Drop version, it does not have a limited shot duration and also benefits nearby Snipers.
  • Single Out: The Paragon stops its main attack and locks into the strongest Bloon in the screen while charging a powerful blast before firing. If enough power is accumulated beforehand it can deal enough damage to automatically trigger the next skull of a Boss Bloon or pop any Bloon.

Pre-release

[edit | edit source]

The first reference to this Paragon from Ninja Kiwi was in the Looking Foward section of the update notes for version 54.0 while talking about their plans for the rest of 2026, on which they mentioned a Military Paragon was being worked on; and in the update notes of version 56.0, they teased the Paragon as "taking the job of overwatch to an entirely new level".

On 22 September 2026, Ninja Kiwil released a short video titled "Overwatch online, Targets in my sights" on their social media platforms teasing the Paragon:

The Monklish on the video reads:

THE UNIT HAS ENTERED

THE BATTLEFIELD

FINALLY WE'VE BEEN

WAITING FOR TOO LONG!

THE BLOONS WON'T

STAND A CHANCE NOW

Following the teasers, the S.P.I.D.E.R. Monkey was fully revealed on the version 57.0 update preview video, released on YouTube on 2 October 2026.
