Faster Shooting is the Tack Shooter's path 1 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It reduces the Tack Shooter's attack cooldown by 25%, for an attack speed increase of ~33.33%. In the cases of Blade Maelstrom and Super Maelstrom, the attack cooldown of the ability blades is reduced by 15% for an attack speed increase of ~17.6%.

Strategy
The attack speed increase that Faster Shooting grants over the base Tack Shooter is insufficient to be worth it, thus Faster Shooting is only recommended as a crosspath. When using it as a crosspath, it is strongly recommended to continue crosspathing to Even Faster Shooting in nearly all cases.
Faster Shooting is the optimal crosspath for Tack Sprayer, Overdrive, and The Tack Zone. Super Range Tacks and its succeeding tiers, when crosspathed with Faster Shooting, become strong towers in Race Events. However, Blade Maelstrom and Super Maelstrom can use the other crosspath as well.
