Overclock is the Engineer Monkey's path 2 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It grants the Overclock Activated Ability, which allows the player to apply a temporary buff to a selected tower. For most towers, it reduces the attack cooldown of the target tower by 40%, increasing its attack speed by ~66.7%. Since the banana production of Banana Farms is considered an attack, it also increases the number of bananas (or packets of cash in the case of Monkey Banks and Marketplaces) they produce by ~66.7%, rounded up to the nearest whole number. For Monkey Villages, it increases the target's range by 25%, and also increases the attack speed of Primary Expertise. The duration of the buff depends on the target's upgrade tier or, if it is a Hero, their level:
- Tier 5 / Level 20: 30 seconds
- Tier 4 / Level 16-19: 45 seconds
- Otherwise: 30 seconds
The duration is determined by the target's current tier/level and is not lowered if the target upgrades or levels up after the buff is applied. In addition, this upgrade increases the base pierce of the Engineer Monkey's main attack by 12 and increases the pierce of Cleansing Foam puddles by 5. It also doubles the projectile speed of its nails, but halves their lifespan, so their maximum travel distance is the same.
