Double Shot is the Monkey Buccaneer's path 1 tier 2 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It increases the number of darts fired by each cannon from 1 to 2, firing both shots in parallel. If Grape Shot is purchased, Double Shot also grants +1 grape per attack.
Double Shot does not increase the number of cannonballs fired by Cannon Ship or its subsequent upgrades, only granting +1 grape, because these upgrades remove the Monkey Buccaneer's dart attack.

Strategy

Double Shot should be crosspathed; a 2-0-0 Double Shot is sub-par, being less cost-efficient than a 0-0-0 Monkey Buccaneer. It's solid for Grape Shot and above, though not very effective on Cannon Ship and Monkey Pirates due to only adding +1 grape and losing darts, but worth it for Pirate Lord. Long Range is less efficient on Double Shot than Grape Shot, hence Double Shot is the worse crosspath in Race Events.
