Blade Shooter's high pierce for its cost makes it valuable against constant waves of ordinary Bloons, especially for early-game in [[Race Event]]s and CT Time Attack. However, it falls behind in any non-continuous game mode, especially CHIMPS, not often needing to maximize pierce and other options (e.g. [[Ring of Fire (BTD6)|Ring of Fire]]) fulfilling more efficient grouped damage in the mid-game. Ideally, place Blade Shooter where all blades can hit the Bloons.
