Laser Blasts is the Super Monkey's path 1 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. This upgrade increases the pierce of the Super Monkey's projectiles by 1 and their size from 2 to 5. It also changes their damage type to Energy, which lets it pop Frozen Bloons, but it can no longer pop Purple Bloons. The Super Monkey's line of sight is slightly elevated.

The only purpose of Laser Blasts is to pop Frozen Bloons without 
Hot Magic, or act as a stepping stone into Plasma Blasts. The extra pierce is not as cheap as Super Range, the extra projectile size is not impactful enough to be worth it, and the loss of Purple-popping can be detrimental.
