Extra Range is the Bomb Shooter's path 3 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It increases the range of the Bomb Shooter by 12 units, for a 30% increase if no other range upgrades have been bought.

Strategy

Extra Range is sub-par when used by itself, as the extra range barely improves on the already inefficient 0-0-0 Bomb Shooter. Thus, Extra Range is only recommended for use as a crosspath for MOAB Mauler, MOAB Assassin, and MOAB Eliminator if extra range is desired, although these upgrades prefer Bigger Bombs for extra pierce most of the time. Extra Range is not recommended for Really Big Bombs, Bloon Impact, and Bloon Crush, unless it's to progress to Frag Bombs. While Really Big Bombs performs more damage when given pierce buffs with Extra Range and Frag Bombs, it lacks unreliability and loss of knockback in this case and thus generally prefers crosspathing with Missile Launcher.
