Fast Firing is the Sniper Monkey's path 3 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It reduces Sniper Monkey's attack cooldown by 30%, for a ~42.9% attack speed increase.

Strategy
[edit | edit source]Fast Firing is not recommended for standalone use, as its attack speed boost is not worth its cost. While it does increase the capability of Full Metal Jacket to catch Leads, a 1-0-1 Sniper remains too slow for catching all Leads on Rounds 37 and 38 on short maps. Fast Firing also enhances Shrapnel Shot's reliability, but only serves as a stepping stone to Even Faster Firing. Likewise, when crosspathing with Fast Firing, it is nearly universally recommended to continue crosspathing to Even Faster Firing.
Fast Firing is recommended for Deadly Precision and all Tier 3+ middle-path Snipers. For Cripple MOAB, Fast Firing is recommended in CHIMPS and in Boss Bloon Events (except when facing Phayze). Fast Firing is only recommended for Maim MOAB (which generally benefits far more from Shrapnel granting group stun) in Boss Events, where Even Faster Firing's granting of the ability to perma-stun ZOMGs is crucial. 4-0-1 Maim can be enough for a ZOMG permastun in the presence of many external buffs, specifically for Boss Events.
