| Introduced | Version 54.0 | |
The Root of all Nature is the Druid's Paragon in Bloons TD 6, introduced in version 54.0. It is a combination of Monarch of Storms, Spirit of the Forest, and Avatar of Wrath.
The Root of all Nature's basic attack fires Electrified Thorns that ricochet between Bloons. Its attack speed increases the longer it attacks continuously, similar to Druid of Wrath. It passively covers the track in a sentient forest that damages Bloons and grows storm trees. The storm trees attack and blowback nearby Bloons with Vinenados and are treated as Banana Farms. Its Activated Ability, Primordial Wrath, allows it to toggle its wrathful state, which increases its damage but drains cash over time and prevents other towers from generating cash until toggled off. This Paragon also has a special interaction with Obyn Greenfoot, giving him a variety of buffs.
Mechanics
Main attack
The Root of all Nature's main attack fires seven Electrified Thorns at a time. These thorns ricochet on contact with Bloons dealing Normal damage. They deal bonus damage to Boss Bloons and Regrow Bloons. Each thorn travels at 300 units/s, has a lifespan of 0.6667s and a seeking range of 60 units.
The Paragon's attack speed increases by 5% each time it attacks, capping at double attack speed after 20 attacks, but it resets if it does not attack for 0.51 seconds. This buff also affects the spawn rate of Storm Trees.
At Degree 1 the attack has a cooldown of 0.5s. Each thorn has 3 pierce and deals 55 damage with +110 bonus damage to Bosses and +55 to Regrow Bloons.
Sentient Forest
Root of all Nature covers the entire map with thorned vines in the same way as Spirit of the Forest, dealing Normal damage to all Bloons in the map. it also has the same system of three zones centered in the Paragon's location:
- Inner zone - Within 50 units, vines have big white spikes and purple stems.
- Middle zone - Between 50 and 100 units, vines have pink spikes and purple / blue stems.
- Outer zone - Beyond 100 units, vines have small purple spikes and blue stems.
When the Paragon is created, the vines in the inner zone will be created instantly, and the rest will grow outwards at a fixed rate of 6 units per second. The vines damage Bloons every 0.5s; however, each zone is independent from the others, so their effects are applied over each other and they may not damage the Bloons at the exact same time. The time interval for the damage cannot be modified in any way, but the base damage is affected by other buffs like Degrees and the Paragon's own cash buff. The thorns also deal extra damage to Ceramic and MOAB-Class Bloons but it does not scale with the Paragon Degree.
At Degree 1:
- Outer zone: Deals 10 damage and +100 to Ceramic and MOAB-Class.
- Middle zone: Deals 15 damage (25 total) and +150 (+250 total) to Ceramic and MOAB-Class.
- Inner zone: Deals 30 damage (55 total) and +300 (+550 total) to Ceramic and MOAB-Class
Storm Trees
Every few seconds, Root of all Nature throws a seed that produces a sub-tower called a Storm Tree. Trees are placed at random within 8 and 150 units from the Paragon in any open patch of land with at least 6 units of radius. Storm Trees have a lifespan of 60s and a footprint radius of 1 unit but will not prevent the placement of other towers. The Paragon can ignore line of sight blockers and will prioritize areas where the Tree's range can see the at least 36% of the track's length.
At Degree 1, Storm Trees are created every 10s and this rate can be buffed in the same way as the main attack (Degrees, Paragon's own buffs, Master Builder's Power Glove, etc.).
Vineados
Each Storm Tree has a range of 40 units and will attack Bloons that enter it (following the Paragon's targeting) with a tornado composed of vines, named Vineado. It behaves in a similar way to the Superstorm from Monarch of Storms, moving at a speed of 35 units/s with a lifespan of 2.8571s. The projectile deals Normal damage and has extra damage towards Bosses, it will also produce a blowback that will send Bloons that collide with it backwards in the track between 50 and 150 units at twice the Bloon's speed, but the attack will suffer a pierce penalty when it hits MOAB-Class Bloons:
- MOAB: +4
- BFB: +7
- DDT: +5
- ZOMG: +19
At Degree 1, the Vineado attack has a cooldown of 6s. The projectile has 20 pierce and deals 20 damage with +80 damage bonus towards Bosses.
Jungle's Bounty

Every time a round ends, a BAD Bloon is popped, or Boss Skull is defeated, the Root of all Nature produces 1 Life and $120 Cash. Similar to the Jungle's Bounty Druid the amount of income it generates can be boosted for each Banana Farm and Storm Tree in the map, depending on its maximum upgrade tier:
- Base and Storm Trees: +$10
- Tier 1: +$20
- Tier 2: +$40
- Tier 3: +$60
- Tier 4: +$120
- Tier 5: +$120
This ability is limited to a maximum of $10,000 generation. Compared to the end-of-round generation, popping a BAD will produce half as much Cash, while triggering a Boss' Skull will produce twice the regular amount.
Obyn Greenfoot buffs

While the Paragon is on the screen, it will provide several buffs to Obyn Greenfoot:
- Main attack and Brambles: Damage is increased +1000% (11× multiplier). This damage buff is calculated after other buffs such as Permanent Brew.
- Nature's Ward Totem: Spawn range is doubled and Obyn will place them 35% faster.
- Wall of Trees: RBE capacity is tripled and the ability cooldown is reduced 35%.
Primordial Wrath
| This section is in need of research. You can help out by editing this article or discussing your findings on the talk page. The editor who added this notice elaborates: Determine if the Boss Skull RBE applies to total or remaining skulls and if the RBE is instead leak damage like AoW. |

Primordial Wrath is an activated ability with a short cooldown (9s), which switches Root of All Nature between two modes, Elemental and Wrathful. By default, the Paragon starts in Elemental mode when upgraded.
When in Wrathful mode, Root of all Nature changes its appearance, gaining a red and black coloration that resembles Avatar of Wrath, also the main attacks's thorns and Vineados gain a red coloring. In this state the Paragon gains +35% extra range, reduces its shot spread by 80%, and a damage boost based on the total amount of RBE on screen, similar to Avatar of Wrath. It starts at 1× when no Bloons are on the screen and scales by 0.5× for each 30,000 RBE up to a maximum of 5× at 240,000 RBE. Additionally, when a Boss Bloon is on the screen, each Skull of the boss counts as 50,000 RBE.
However, while the Paragon is in Wrathful mode, it drains 1% of the players's cash every second, with a minimum of $1,000 and a maximum of $10,000, and disables all income, except its own. If the player has less than $1,000 remaining, the ability cannot be activated to switch to Wrathful mode, or, if Root of all Nature is already in that mode, it will revert to its Elemental mode without draining the remaining Cash.
Cash-based damage scaling
The base damage dealt by all of Root of all Nature's attacks (including Sentient Forest and Vineados) scales with the amount of Cash that the player has. It does not affect any bonus damage.
| Amount | Multiplier |

Root of all Nature needs attention to its Wrathful state to make the most of its power, but given enough cash it becomes one of the highest DPS Paragons in the game. Although it is deceptively cheap for its immense DPS during Wrathful mode, it demands excessive cash generation to become strong; only activate Wrathful mode during tough rounds and if cash generation is stable after returning to Elemental mode. As Timed Bosses only care about maximized cash generation and quick Boss kills, Root of all Nature is very powerful especially against Tier 5 Bosses.
In terms of Boss matchups, Root of all Nature is a strong counter against Bloonarius and Lych, due to its RBE scaling mechanics and dealing more Regrow damage, respectively. It is not as effective against Phayze and Vortex, which both have long windows of invulnerability without additional weaknesses that Root of all Nature can take advantage of.
Like many expensive Paragons like Goliath Doomship, higher degrees are preferred for Root of all Nature. Unlike most Paragons, piling up its pops over many rounds is always better than creating Root of all Nature as a makeshift Paragon. The optimal income method going into this Paragon, via Jungle's Bounties surrounded by Farms in the late-game, also builds most of its degrees from pops.
Most of its degrees from pops should come from 0-4-1 Jungle's Bounty farming with a maximized Farm setup. Bear in mind that Druids steal Bloon Trap farming prior to XXXL Trap. Surround as much of the map as possible with Farms and fill the empty spaces with Druids and maximum range buffs, which should maximize its pop generation. The other Tier 5 Druids can be added to supplement damage as well.
For maximizing degrees from tiers, the cheapest T2 and T3 crosspaths for the most tiers are 0-2-2 and 0-2-3, the cheapest Tier 4 for the most tiers are 0-2-4 Poplusts, and the most expensive are 2-4-0 Jungle's Bounties, though 0-4-2 is preferred generally.
