Brickell is the first purely water-based hero in the game (Pat Fusty can be placed on both water and land). She drops sea mines into the water, which will home in on Bloons near them. She also has a high-damage revolver that pops up to three Bloons at a time, hitting targets that meet the centerpoint of the shot.
Naval Tactics (level 3) — Monkey Subs, Monkey Buccaneers and herself, temporarily gain double attack speed. Additionally, it grants extra pierce and Normal-type damage starting from level 5, and Camo detection starting from level 8. The effect becomes global starting at level 19.
Blast Chain (level 7) — Sea mines trigger and move much faster after deployment.
Mega Mine (level 10) — Creates a massive mine in the water, dealing immense damage to the first MOAB-Class Bloon that it detects. The mine lasts multiple rounds and ignores line of sight.

Admiral Brickell's pistol attack fires a shot at a target Bloon within her range every 0.8 seconds. Each shot collides with the target instantly, bypassing travel time, and produces a 0-radius area-of-effect (hitting targets that meet its centerpoint) that hits up to 3 Bloons at a time and dealing 3 Sharp-typedamage. Its pierce cannot be buffed.

Sea mines
Admiral Brickell's sea mine attack passively deploys mines on the water within her range every 3 seconds. The placement of the mines is random, but they are always deployed within 39 units of the track if possible. They cannot be deployed on top of other towers unless there is not enough space, and they cannot be deployed on top of Admiral Brickell herself. Once deployed, a mine lasts for up to 120 seconds and can carry over one round, and it disappears if Brickell is sold.
A mine activates and homes in on a Bloon if it comes within 40 units of it. On contact, it deals 1 normal-type damage to the target Bloon and generates an explosion that deals 1 explosion-type damage to up to 20 Bloons in a 20-unit radius. Its pierce is affected by More 'Splody. It also explodes in place if it starts seeking a Bloon but fails to hit the target after 0.3 seconds, but it will not explode if it expires on its own or Brickell is sold. If a mine activates, other mines cannot activate for 0.4 seconds afterwards; this is not affected by attack speed buffs.

Naval Tactics is unlocked at level 3. It grants Monkey Subs and Monkey Buccaneers within Brickell's range (including herself) double attack speed for 8 seconds. It has a 50-second cooldown.
Now affects all eligible towers placed on water on-screen, not just within Brickell's range.
Blast Chain
Blast Chain is unlocked at level 7. When activated, Brickell's sea mines have a 0.2-second delay between activations instead of a 0.4-second delay, and their movement speed while seeking Bloons is doubled, for 10 seconds. It does not affect Mega Mines. It has a 45-second cooldown.
Mega Mine
Mega Mine is unlocked at level 10. It allows the player to deploy a massive mine anywhere on water on the map, including Lord of the Abyss' ink platform. The mine lasts for up to 150 seconds or 4 rounds, whichever comes first, and it disappears if Brickell is sold. It activates and homes in on the first MOAB-Class Bloon that comes within 40 units of it, ignoring regular Bloons. It can target and hit Camo Bloons. On contact, it generates an explosion that deals 4,000 normal-type damage to up to 100 Bloons (affected by More 'Splody), with MOAB-class consuming +1 pierce, in a 120-unit radius, which does not soak through layers, and it stuns any Bloons that did not have any layers popped by the explosion for 5 seconds. The explosion can hit Bloons behind line of sight blockers. It also explodes in place if it starts seeking a Bloon but fails to hit the target after 0.2 seconds, but it will not explode if it expires on its own or Brickell is sold. The ability has a 60-second cooldown.
Despite being placed like a tower and displaying a range circle while being placed, the mine is not treated as a sub-tower. It has no footprint and it is unaffected by buffs from being in range of other towers (such as Monkey Villages). If a Tech Bot is linked to Admiral Brickell, she automatically deploys Mega Mines wherever the player last deployed one manually; she will not deploy them if the player has not deployed at least one manually.

Brickell's optimal strategy revolves around her abilities: Naval Tactics to boost other water towers and Mega Mines to take out many MOAB-class bloons. She works well with a water-focused defense. Her buffs from Naval Tactics and her level 8+ pierce passive are effective for Monkey Buccaneer and Monkey Sub strategies, which generally have low pierce but rapid-fire projectiles. Middle-path Ice Monkeys are also recommended, as her best strategies often involve stalling.
Naval Tactics works well as burst damage to get through difficult rounds. It benefits fast attacking towers such as Destroyer, Monkey Pirates, and Airburst Darts, along with all of their upgrades. The level 5+ benefits also help them counter DDTs and dense rounds if timed well.
As Mega Mines will explode on the first blimp that gets near, strategic placement and stalling can be used to maximize the impact of each explosion. It's better to have the mine explode when many MOABs are nearby instead of quickly at the start of the round, and mines can be spaced out to avoid wasting multiple mines on one use. In particular, round 99 can be stalled to build up 4-5 mines to take out the round 100 BAD.
Blast Chain is not very useful, although it improves consistency of attack bursts and works early-game for Leads.
Energizer pairs especially well with Brickell as it helps her level faster and reduces cooldowns of her abilities. The level 20 mega mines are noticeably stronger than those of previous levels.
