Fast Firing is the Sniper Monkey's path 3 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. This upgrade reduces Sniper Monkey's attack cooldown by 30%, for a ~42.9% attack speed increase. Without additional upgrades, its attack cooldown is 1.113 seconds.

Strategy

Fast Firing is not recommended for standalone use, as its attack speed boost is not worth its cost. It should be crosspathed, and can be used in some scenarios for better consistency on short maps. For instance, Full Metal Jacket needs Fast Firing to catch Leads on Rounds 37 and 38 on short maps such as #Ouch. It is nearly universally recommended to continue crosspathing to Even Faster Firing. The only exception is Maim MOAB in Boss Events to perma-stun a single ZOMGs when Even Faster Firing would reduce the stall; 4-0-1 Maim can be enough for a ZOMG permastun in the presence of many external buffs.
