Homeland Defense is the Monkey Village's path 2 tier 5 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It improves the Call to Arms Activated Ability to increase attack speed and pierce by +100% instead of 50%, and last for 20 seconds (23 with 
To ARMS!) instead of 15. The ability's buff does not stack with Call to Arms; instead, these abilities override each other.

Homeland Defense is one of the strongest support towers in the game as it gives all monkeys (excluding Paragons) on the map to receive a substantial boost in DPS that they wouldn't have otherwise, making it essential in freeplay.
Other than freeplay and Boss Events other than Lych, it is usually too expensive (mainly in CHIMPS) or a bit overkill (in other game modes).
250 is the optimal crosspath for it as it amplifies the attack speed to all monkeys in range further, but 052 can be considered if a X02 village is nearby.
