A Daily Challenge where the opponent plays Adora and starts with a Super Monkey
The Daily Challenge is a daily event in Bloons Card Storm introduced in version 3.0. On each day (resetting at 08:00 UTC), the game generates a randomized match between a player and an AI-controlled opponent. The seed that generates the challenge is the same for all players on each day. Completing a Daily Challenge rewards 50 Monkey Money.
In each challenge, both the player and the opponent are assigned a random premade deck. (Since these decks are not owned by the player, they cannot have custom Card Backs.) The map is also random, but Monkey Meadow is twice as likely to appear as the other maps. There is a chance the challenge will have a modifier similar to those in Amelia's Adventure, except these modifiers always benefit both the player and the opponent. The player can mulligan up to five times before the match starts instead of three.
The main strategy in Daily Challenge is to have basic knowledge about card interactions, outwit the AI opponent's limitations, and observe the wincon of your deck compared to theirs. Certain decks may follow a specific strategy, such as an aggro swarm deck. Unlike most card battles, the Daily Challenge always has the same seeding per day, so it's possible to keep trying combinations of card swaps and plays until the optimal wincon is discovered. Swapping cards can alter the order that both players may play their cards, but the opponent always starts with the same hand. The special modifiers added for the Daily Challenge are rarely impactful.
Due to limitations with the AI's programming, the following AI opponents are especially prone to being taken advantage of:
Gwendolin: Always throws Cocktail onto the first non-burning Bloon no matter what, and almost never tries to chain her Flame Strike.
Adora almost never takes advantage of Sun Shield or Ultimate Sacrifice, as she will always try to use her Orbs of Light ability as much as possible during a turn.
Ezili: If she has available Bloontonium, she always uses Sacrificial Totem, even if no Bloons are on the opponent's side.
Starting in version 5.0, all modifiers that only affect the opponent have had their weightings set to zero server-side, so the following modifiers will never appear:
