Armor Piercing Darts is the Monkey Sub's path 3 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It increases the damage of Monkey Sub's main darts from 1 to 2, increases their MOAB-Class damage from +0 to +2, and increases their Fortified damage from +0 to +1. This upgrade also increases the MOAB-Class damage of airburst projectiles from +0 to +1, Fortified damage from +0 to +1, and increases their pierce from 2 to 5.

Strategy

Armor Piercing Darts is a decent T4 for carrying the mid-game when paired with Berserker Brew, with its multiple projectiles and high MOAB damage. However, it struggles against large groups of Bloons and falls off after round 62. Armor Piercing Darts is decent for Sub Commander armies, though 0-3-2 Ballistic Missile or 2-0-3 Triple Guns are more cost efficient, especially when planning to upgrade the latter to T4s.

2-0-4 is largely the better crosspath as it can grant infinite range, but this may disrupt strategies that rely on stalling or dealing precise damage to groups of Bloons. 0-1-4 and 0-2-4's granting of increased pierce and ability to affect visible DDTs are helpful but not as significant.

• It is based on real-life armor-piercing ammunition. However, Armor Piercing Darts does not pop Lead Bloons, likely due to balance reasons.
