Plasma Blasts is the Super Monkey's path 1 tier 2 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. This upgrade increases the attack speed of the Super Monkey by 50%, increases their projectile size from 5 to 6, and changes their damage type to Plasma, which grants the ability to pop Lead Bloons.

Strategy

Plasma Blasts is the crosspath that boosts attack speed and gives lead popping, at the cost of purple popping. It is the preferred crosspath for Dark Knight and above, letting it damage DDTs and improve its single-target damage, while most of the path 2 upgrades often prefer knockback but can benefit from the extra attack speed. The Anti-Bloon greatly prefers the extra attack speed.

By itself, the upgrade is very weak, with poor pierce, mediocre damage for its cost, and poor Alchemist buff uptime. It should only be used with plans to upgrade it to tier 3.
