Bigger Bombs is the Bomb Shooter's path 1 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It increases the projectile size of its bombs by 20%, the blast radius of its explosions by 50%, and the pierce of the explosions by 6.

In addition, crosspathing with Recursive Cluster increases the pierce of the tertiary explosions by 10 (18 with and their blast radii by ~11%. Crosspathing with Bomb Blitz increases the pierce of the tertiary explosions by 18 instead of 10. While it increases the pierce of the first explosion for bombs that release secondary explosions, it does not increase the pierce of the first explosion for bombs that release tertiary explosions. Therefore, Bomb Blitz does not gain extra pierce on its first explosion due to all of its bombs having tertiary explosions.

Strategy

Bigger Bombs is not useful by itself, as the blast radius increase is insignificant for a 0-0-0 Bomb Shooter and the pierce increase is not meaningful due to the base pierce being overkill in the early-game already. Therefore, Bigger Bombs is only recommended for use as a crosspath for Tier 3 and above Bomb Shooters.

Bigger Bombs is the better crosspath for Cluster Bombs, which benefits greatly from the +1 damage of the Bigger Bombs's succeeding upgrade, Heavy Bombs, as does Recursive Cluster (which prefers Bigger Bombs in Race Events and against Bloonarius, but not elsewhere). Tier 3+ middle-path Bomb Shooters can be crosspathed with Bigger Bombs for extra pierce, but their base pierce is enough most of the time. Bigger Bombs is not recommended as a crosspath for Bomb Blitz.
