White Hot Spikes is the Spike Factory's path 1 tier 2 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It changes the damage type of newly placed spikes from sharp to normal, allowing them to pop Frozen and Lead Bloons.

Despite the high cost of White Hot Spikes for purely upgrading damage type, this upgrade has practical use cases for countering DDTs and unshielded Dreadbloon (without Support immunities) without needing lead-popping supports. Gaining frozen-popping is niche, though White Hot Spikes does prevent dissynergy with freezing supports such as Snowstorm. It's quite expensive as the only lead-popping against early Leads.
