Thorn Swarm is the Druid's path 2 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It increases the amount of thorns per shot from 5 to 8.

Extra projectiles improve density of thorns and pair well with external buffs and crosspaths. Since it only affects thorns, Thorn Swarm without going for Heart of Oak is meaningless on top path except Hard Thorns which is useful for early-game pierce. Bottom path favors Thorn Swarm, due to its immense attack speed potential.
