Oversize Nails is the Engineer Monkey's path 3 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It increases the pierce of the Engineer Monkey's base attack by 5 and changes its damage type from Sharp to Shatter, allowing it to pop frozen Bloons. It has the following special crosspath bonuses:

• Sentry Gun: Increases Sentry pierce by 1 and changes its damage type from Sharp to Shatter.
• Sentry Expert: Increases pierce of all Sentries by +50%.
• Sentry Champion: Increases the pierce of Champion Sentries' plasma by 5 and self-destruct by 25.
• Cleansing Foam: Increases the pierce of the foam splash by 5.
• Overclock: Increases the pierce of the foam splash by 7.
• Ultraboost: Increases the pierce of the foam splash by 12.

Despite the "massivization" referenced in the upgrade description, the projectile radius of nails does not increase.

Oversize Nails offers a large pierce bonus to tbe main Engineer and a decent pierce bonus to other attacks, and its capability to hit Frozen reduces anti-synergy with freezing towers, including the Cold Sentries of Sentry Expert. The extra pierce on sentries benefits the most during the mid-game, which assists cleanup when used on Sprockets or Sentry Expert and a further benefit if further upgraded to Pin. Extra foam pierce allows foam to strip properties from dense groups of Bloons more reliably, and Oversize Nails is cheaper than getting Faster Engineering by cumulative costs.
