Gwendolin attacks by shooting fireballs at Bloons from her flamethrower. Initially, each flame pops up to 2 Bloons at a rate of every 0.5 seconds. Almost every level improves her flame attack. All of her attacks cannot pop Purple Bloons without support until she reaches at least level 16, and all of her activated abilities can affect Camo.
Starting at level 4, she gains a passively generating Heat It Up attack that is triggered every 40 shots from her flamethrower, creating a high-pierce radial fire attack that additionally buffs nearby towers with +1 pierce and gives the ability to pop frozen and Lead Bloons. Starting at level 17, the buff grants additional damage to all Bloons, especially Lead Bloons.
Cocktail of Fire (level 3) — Drops a cocktail onto a targeted location within her range, creating a blaze (similar to Wall of Fire) that constantly damages non-Purple Bloons that pass through it.
Firestorm (level 10) — Damages and burns all non-Purple Bloons on screen and immediately applies a Heat It Up effect for all other towers on screen.
Gwendolin's main attack is a flamethrower that shoots flame projectiles. It deals 1 Fire-typedamage and has 2 pierce, and she attacks every 0.5 seconds.

Gwendolin stands out in strategies that need consistent lead-popping against DDTs and do generally low base damage and attack quickly, as assisted by her Heat-It-Up, plus multiple ways to pop large groups of non-Purple Bloons. Place her close to the main defenses.

Description changed ― "Heat it up gives affected Monkeys 1 extra layer pop." → "Heat it up empowers affected Monkeys to pop 1 extra layer, and do +2 damage to Lead Bloons."
Note: Description is incorrect about the damage to Lead Bloons
Gwendolin’s Heat it Up! attack/buff has been sitting in a weird spot where it would benefit from attack speed but does not because of the cooldown which prevents it ever having full uptime. This rework makes her have a roughly similar uptime at all levels without being buffed, however she will now benefit properly with increased uptime depending on any rate modifiers applied to her. A fully juiced Gwendolin around level 15 or 18 should now be capable of achieving 100% buff uptime — Update notes

The last Gwendolin change didn't come through as well as intended for a number of reasons, so while keeping true to the intention behind this change it has been improved across the board to properly buff this again — Update notes
As the Firestorm ability itself drops off later anyway, Gwen’s level 17 buff to Heat it Up will now apply to the version granted to all towers by Firestorm as well. — Update notes

Similar to Wall of Fire, Gwendolin’s Cocktail gains too much strength in grouped situations too early on and so this power has been pushed to higher levels. — Update notes
As she’s a little average all around these days with other heroes overtaking in the past years, Gwendolin is seeing some improved quality of life, synergization, and extra juice to the initial hit of Firestorm since currently the ability is, well, not heroic enough and the first impact does very little compared to the DoT. — Update notes

For now with a noteworthy direct comparison to Brickell and the use cases for these two heroes we have done a price swap keeping the lesser of the two at the lower price point. However as 750 would put gwen on the same cost as Striker Jones and we want starts with base 4 heroes to stay more diverse we have taken her down a little extra on top of that. — Update notes
Removing the stacking aspect of Gwendolin’s burn damage over time, but increasing the damage as she levels up so that it actually scales up in power now. — Update notes

Gwen’s early game is just too much, especially far too excessive with the right combinations of knowledge / relic buffs so some of this power is being pushed up more with a makeup buff to cocktail at Lv7 where this has started to fall off by. — Update notes
Looking back over her kit, we noticed that we’ve never improved the actual attack itself for Gwen’s Heat it Up. Allowing her to be juiced up with high attack speed in order to spam these supercharged bursts of damage sounds fun and cool, so while noting that this will also increase the uptime of her buff we’re removing the limiter on her Heat it Up rate and pumping up its damage tenfold. — Update notes

Gwen’s attack rate levels (Lv12, 15, 18) no longer reduce Heat it Up frequency
Gwendolin’s Heat it Up was recently reworked to allow for much more frequent triggering from attacks, however the 4.5s internal cooldown still limits it from being scaled up far so that internal cooldown is now also being reduced. Additionally, Heat it Up’s bonus buff to damage against Lead targets has been improved slightly so we can get more out of that niche. — Update notes
