The Herald of Everfrost is the Ice Monkey's Paragon in Bloons TD 6, introduced in 52.0. It is a combination of Super Brittle, Absolute Zero, and Icicle Impale.

The Herald of Everfrost's attacks will alternate between three Ice Lance Beams and one Snowstorm Roar; either attack is only used when Bloons are in range. It also has an Arctic Wind-like aura that greatly slows Bloons and MOAB-Class Bloons within its radius. The Paragon creates ice platforms for the water placement of land towers globally.

The Paragon creates ice platforms for the water placement of land towers globally.
* Ice Lance Beam: The Paragon launches an ice beam attack with very high pierce which travels in a straight line and freezes all damaged Bloons for 10 seconds, leaving a trail of 6 giant ice shards as it travels. Bloons that survive the attack grow icicles that damage other Bloons.

Bloons that survive the attack grow icicles that damage other Bloons.
* Snowstorm Roar: The Paragon freezes all Bloons on screen, applying permafrost to Bloons below a BAD, removing Camo and Regrow properties, removes Lead immunities, and inflicting a debuff that causes Bloons to take +10 damage from all attacks with an additional +40 damage from attacks that deal Cold, Frigid, Glacier, or Shatter-type damage. This debuff can stack with Embrittlement and Super Brittle. BADs and Boss Bloons also receive the damage debuff with the visual effect, but they are not slowed.

This attack also inflicts a powerful debuff that causes Bloons to take +8 damage from all attacks with an additional +40 damage from attacks that deal Cold, Frigid, or Glacier-type damage. This debuff overrides both Embrittlement and Super Brittle. Herald of Everfrost has a single attack that alternates between four Ice Lance Beams and one Snowstorm Roar. Its base range is 46 units and has an attack cooldown of 4s at Degree 1.
*Is the beam really infinite, goldjust-like high pierce, or something?

*Determine if ice shard burst is affected by mbuilder powerglove (is affected by degrees though)
Ice Lance Beam
*Determine if the shards and icicles are affected by damage and pierce from degrees
This attack is composed of two parts. First, the Ice Beam itself which is a short-lived blue-colored beam similar to Ray of Doom which travels instantly to the edge of the map ignoring blockers, it has a radius of 2 units and Bloons that are hit by it are frozen and grow icicles:
*Determine if adding other popping grants like MIB would override the pseudo-Shatter effect of Hot Magic or Hard Tacks. Source of mention.
* Freeze: It can freeze all Bloons, except BADs and Bosses, the effect lasts for 10s and affects up to 6 layers. It also and reduces Heat of Blastapopoulos by 600. It also deals additional damage, with the freeze applied before the damage.
}}
* Icicles: The Icicles damage other Bloons that touch them (except other Bloons affected by this effect). It lasts for 1.5s and each affected Bloon can re-hit the same target if it is still touching it after 0.2s.
Herald of Everfrost has a single attack that alternates between three Ice Lance Beams and one Snowstorm Roar. Its base range is 46 units (49 with Icy Chill).
*The beam itself also creates an extra projectile on its initial hit, which can also freeze Bloons and grow icicles, but the extra projectile can not affected by degrees.

Second, the Ice Shards, which are a series of projectile bursts created by a secondary invisible "beam" that is launched in the same direction as the main Ice Beam, it travels at a speed of 150 units/s with a lifespan of 4s. Bursts of shards are periodically created as it travels through the air and each one occurs with a delay of 0.5s after the invisible projectile has passed over and it creates 6 shards in a circular pattern (shifted 45°). Each shard has a radius of 5 units, and travels in a straight line with an initial speed of 350 units/s but they decelerate until disappearing after traveling ~41 units. The shard spawn cooldown is affected by degrees and attack speed buffs such as Master Builder's Power Glove. Each shard also reduces Heat of Blastapopoulos by 60.

At Degree 1:

* The Ice Beam deals 600 Normal damage with an additional +6,000 against bosses and has 500 pierce.
* The freeze effect deals an additional 600 Normal damage, even if the target cannot be frozen.
* The Icicles deal 10 Normal damage with an additional +40 for MOAB-Class Bloons and +300 for Boss Bloons. They have infinite pierce.
* Bursts of shards are created every 0.2s.
* Each Ice Shard deals 25 Normal damage with an additional +50 for MOAB-Class Bloons and +125 for Boss Bloons and has 25 pierce.

Snowstorm Roar
Snowstorm Roar is a map-wide effect (still needs a target in range to use the attack in the first place) with infinite pierce that damages and applies several effects to all Bloons. Effects include:

* Freezes all Bloons, except BADs and bosses, for 10s and lasts for 8 layers. It is applied after the damage and the duration for MOAB-Class Bloons is halved (5s).
* Applies a Permafrost effect with infinite duration for the top 6 layers. The speed of MOAB-Class Bloons, except BADs and Bosses is reduced by 25%, and 50% for all other Bloons.
* Applies an Embrittlement-like effect that debuffs all Bloons for 10s (all layers are affected), including BADs and Bosses, and causes them to take +8 damage from all attacks and +40 additional damage (total of +48) from attacks that deal Cold, Frigid, or Glacier-type damage. BADs and Bosses receive a visual effect to indicate that they are debuffed. It also overrides the debuffs from Embrittlement and Super Brittle.
* Removes Camo and Regrow properties.
* Removes Lead and Frozen immunities from all Bloons, with infinite duration.

The Ice Lance Beam is an infinite pierce beam that creates a burst of 6 shards passively as it travels and another projectile on its first hit. Affected Bloons are frozen and given an "icicle" mutator that damages other Bloons nearby. The shard bursts are affected by degrees and attack speed buffs such as Master Builder's Power Glove. The bonus projectile is not affected by degrees. Ice Lance Beam itself<!--not the shards or the icicle mutator--> also reduces Heat of Blastapopoulos by 600. It's not affected by Big Cryo Blast.
At Degree 1:

Snowstorm Roar immediately applies a global freeze that damages and debuffs all Bloons, freezes all except BADs and Boss Bloons, and removes Camo and Regrow properties along with Lead immunity. Affected Bloons are frozen and debuffed for 10 seconds. The 10-second debuff affects all Bloons, including BADs and Bosses, and causes them to take +10 damage from all attacks and +40 additional damage (total of +50) from attacks that deal Cold, Frigid, Glacier, or Shatter-type damage. Monkeys with Sharp-type damage modified to pop Frozen but not Lead, such as through Hot Magic, Hard Tacks or Deep Heat, are counted as if it had Shatter-type. BADs and Bosses receive a visual effect to indicate that they are debuffed, but do not slow down. Additionally, Snowstorm Roar causes Blastapopoulos to lose 6,000 Heat. Hypothermia does not increase the duration of the freeze or debuff.
* It deals 10 Normal damage, with an additional +200 damage to already frozen Bloons. <!-- The freeze effects ha the script to deal another 10, but it is not being applied, maybe due the apply after damage flag set to true, unlike the Ice Beam which deals the additional 600 with the flag set to false. -->

This attack reduces the Heat of Blastapopoulos by 6,000.

*The ice cannon does ??? damage, +??? MOAB-Class damage, and has ??? pierce.
*The shard burst occurs every ??? seconds, does ??? damage, and has ??? pierce[note: assuming piercebuffable].

After upgrading to Herald of Everfrost, all water on the entire map gains special ice platforms. The ice platforms themselves are functionally equivalent to normal ice platforms from Arctic Wind or Silas. Visually, the Herald of Everfrost's platforms are dark blue ice platforms. When Herald of Everfrost is sold, all land monkeys on the water will be sold as well, unless they are being supported by other ice platforms.

Herald of Everfrost's activated ability, Eclipse of Fimbulwinter, causes a visual effect that darkens the entire map, creates a global slow effect for 25 seconds, and after 5 seconds it freezes all Bloons on the screen and applies a permafrost effect for 10 seconds. The global slow effect slows Boss Bloons by 5%, BADs by 10%, and all other Bloons by 30%. The freeze status affects BADs and Boss Bloons, with the same effects, but lasting 5 seconds instead. Frozen BADs move at 2.25 units/s and Bosses move at half speed. The permafrost effect slows regular Bloons by 75% and slows MOAB-Class Bloons by 50%, but it doesn't affect BADs or Boss Bloons. It has a cooldown of 90 seconds and can only be used once per round. The ability's effects cannot carry over rounds.

* Global slow effect: Lasts for 25 seconds, starting at the moment the ability is activated. It slows Boss Bloons by 5%, BADs by 10%, and all other Bloons by 30%.
* Freeze: This attack is applied 5 seconds after the ability is activated, affecting all layers and lasts for 10s. BADs and Boss Bloons are also frozen, but the duration is halved (5s). Frozen BADs move at 2.25 units/s and Bosses move at half speed.

The ability has a cooldown of 90 seconds and can only be used once per round. Additionally, Blastapopoulos heat bar is reduced by 10,000,000, effectively resetting it to zero.

Eclipse of Fimbulwinter has a special effect on Bosses where if a skull is triggered while they are frozen, the skull's effect will be negated, but the Boss will thaw early. This effect can only be used once per Boss tier. Specific interactions with Bosses are as follows:
Eclipse of Fimbulwinter has a special effect that causes a Boss Bloon's skull effect to be negated if the skull was triggered between the moment the freeze is applied and the end of the ability (when the lighting returns to normal), which can be triggered within 20 seconds. Once the effect is triggered, the Boss will thaw early if it was frozen. This effect can only be used once per Boss tier. Specific interactions with Bosses are as follows:

* Bloonarius: Does not spawn or scatter any Bloons.
* Bloonarius: Does not spawn or scatter any Bloons.
* Lych: Lych-soul and chained MOABs do not appear, and Lych does not enter an immunity phase.
* Lych: Lych-souls do not appear, and Lych does not enter an immunity phase.
* Vortex: It does not create a shield or stun towers, but does not get knocked backwards on the track.
* Vortex: It does not create a shield or stun towers, but does not get knocked backwards on the track.
* Dreadbloon: It stays in its current immunity, skips the ceramic shield, and stops the spawn of Dreadrock Bloons. This does not work before the first skull due to Primary immunity. If the second skull is skipped, it keeps Military immunity, and the last skull only changes the immunity to Magic, causing Support immunity to be completely skipped.
* Dreadbloon: It stays in its current immunity, skips the ceramic shield, and stops the spawn of Dreadrock Bloons. This effect cannot trigger while Dreadbloon has Primary immunity.
* Phayze: Prevents the warp, keeping the Bloon spawn portal in its current position and also prevents it from setting up its Reality Shield.
* Phayze: Prevents the warp, keeping the Bloon spawn portal in its current position, if present, and also prevents it from setting up its Reality Shield. Its slow aura does not become stronger.
* Blastapopoulos: Does not spawn fireballs or pyroclastic rocks. Additionally, its heat bar is reduced by 10,000,000, effectively resetting its heat bar to zero.
* Blastapopoulos: Does not spawn fireballs or pyroclastic rocks, and its heat meter does not gain 25%.
* Diamondback: Does not produce Diamond Bloons or other spawns, and one segment is not removed.

Hypothermia does not affect duration of the ability.
Monkey Knowledge interactions
*Icy Chill: Affects both its main attacks, but not its Arctic Wind.
*So... Cold...: Increases the roar's speed modifier to -37.5% for MOAB-Class Bloons and -55% for other Bloons.
*Big Cryo Blast: No effect.
*Hypothermia: No effect.

Towers that work well with Super Brittle perform even better with it. The Cold bonus is not too impactful, though it has a strong synergy with Popseidon especially with its ability.

Time the Eclipse of Fimbulwinter carefully versus BADs and Bosses, as it is limited by its long delay and cooldown. Since the ability cannot carry over rounds, it must be timed during a round within its delay.

The Cold bonus is not too impactful unless using a pseudo-Shatter (e.g. Hot Magic on Bloonjitsus and Shinobi Tactics, and Hard Tacks on Overdrives+) that is not affected by a Lead-popping external buff like Acidic Mixture Dip or Monkey Intelligence Bureau, and has a strong synergy with Popseidon especially with its ability.
This Paragon shines in Freeplay, complementing the Bloonjitsu + Shinobi Tactics strategy. Despite its ability's long cooldown and round restriction, it along with Time Stops are the only ways to slow BADs, and these effects stack.

The Herald of Everfrost and its ability have varied matchups against each Boss:
*Bloonarius: Least effective matchup, since most Paragons already deal enough damage to deal with its minions by the late game. However, the ability's slowdown is effective against BAD spawns and limiting the Boss's progression on shorter maps.
*Bloonarius: Least effective matchup, since most Paragons already deal enough damage to deal with its minions by the late game. However, the ability's slowdown is effective against BAD spawns and limiting the Boss's progression on shorter maps.
*Lych: Particularly on rounds with DDTs and Fortified DDTs, preventing a skull will avoid Lych-Soul and Resurrected Blimps. Additionally, not being able to become invulnerable allows better chaining of high-damage Paragon abilities, such as Goliath Doomship's Carpet Bomb.

*Vortex: Is a double-edged sword as the Boss would not be knocked back, but a detrimental tower stun can be avoided.
*Vortex: A double-edged sword, as the Boss would not be knocked back, but a detrimental tower stun can be avoided.
*Dreadbloon: Its best matchup against all except Primary immunity, potentially skipping the Support category completely and offering a significant Bloon damage debuff that makes unshielded Dreadbloon easier to handle by projectile spam strategies. Time just before the second (Military → Magic) or third (Magic → Support) skulls for the best results.
*Dreadbloon: Its best matchup against all except Primary immunity, potentially skipping the non-Elite Support category completely and offering a significant Bloon damage debuff that makes unshielded Dreadbloon easier to handle by projectile spam strategies. Time just before destroying the Military or Magic skulls for the best results. Still effective against the Elite version but not as powerful due to the immunities looping twice.
*Phayze: Good matchup, since it can prevent a warp. Despite stripping Camo properties, Phayze will be immune to decamo for half the time, and can still be an anti-synergy with Ascended Shadow.
*Phayze: Good matchup, since it can prevent a warp and reduce the speed penalty of towers. Despite stripping Camo properties, Phayze will be immune to decamo for half the time, and can still be an anti-synergy with Ascended Shadow.
*Blastapopoulos: Another very strong matchup, with the Bloon damage debuff and Heat Bar reductions assisting projectile spam strategies significantly. Skipping a skull effect is beneficial to limit Pyroclastic Rocks or Meteors where towers are close to the Boss.
*Blastapopoulos: Another very strong matchup, with the Bloon damage debuff and Heat Bar reductions assisting projectile spam strategies significantly. Skipping a skull effect is beneficial to limit Pyroclastic Rocks or Meteors where towers are close to the Boss.
*Diamondback: Having an extra segment leaves more opportunity to hit multiple parts of the Boss at once, and make it easier to trigger its self-debuffs, though this also leaves more area to partially consume pierce.
If the Paragon is mainly used for the damage debuff, getting a high degree is important to maximize the uptime, but it cannot reach full uptime without an external attack speed buff, and they do benefit reducing the long cooldown of the Fimbulwinter ability as well as cooling Blastapopoulos faster. Obtaining at least full uptime for the damage debuff requires Paragon of Power<!--"requires [mk] and at least D78" is necessary to add if the MK is a full prereq--> and at least Degree 78,<!--20*.617284*.8083=9.97901314--> with this MK and Degree 91 together having about 103%<!--10/(20*.598444*.8083)--> uptime. The direct damage increases are not too significant, but can help to an extent. Otherwise, if the Paragon is mainly used for skull skip, then Degree 1 is enough if the player buys it several rounds in advance.
To maximize degrees from pops, the majority of them should come from a mixture of all Tier 5 Ice Monkeys and Icicles spam. The cheapest T2 and T3 crosspaths for the most tiers are 2-0-2 and 3-0-2, the cheapest Tier 4 for the most tiers are 4-0-2 Embrittlements, and the most expensive are 2-4-0 Snowstorms. Icicles is still preferred for maximum degrees if placed over many rounds. Silas with his bonus T5 Ice Monkey provides a headstart to its degrees, but Geraldo's Paragon Power Totems are still generally preferred for that purpose.

High degrees are not too important for the Herald of Everfrost as the debuff has full uptime at base, but they do benefit the uptime of the Fimbulwinter ability and the increased attack speed improves the consistency of Snowstorm Roar's Bloon debuffs, as well as cooling Blastapopoulos faster. Introduced Version 52.0

The Herald of Everfrost is the Ice Monkey's Paragon in Bloons TD 6, introduced in version 52.0. It is a combination of Super Brittle, Absolute Zero, and Icicle Impale.

The Herald of Everfrost's attacks alternate between four Ice Lance Beams and one Snowstorm Roar; either attack is only used when Bloons are in range. It also has an Arctic Wind-like aura that greatly slows Bloons and MOAB-Class Bloons within its radius. The Paragon creates ice platforms for the water placement of land towers globally.

  • Ice Lance Beam: The Paragon launches an ice beam attack with very high pierce which travels in a straight line and freezes all damaged Bloons for 10 seconds, leaving a trail of groups of 6 giant ice shards as it travels. Bloons that survive the attack grow icicles that damage other Bloons.
  • Snowstorm Roar: The Paragon freezes all Bloons on screen, applying permafrost to Bloons below a BAD, removing Camo and Regrow properties, as well as Lead and Frozen immunities. This attack also inflicts a powerful debuff that causes Bloons to take +8 damage from all attacks with an additional +40 damage from attacks that deal Cold, Frigid, or Glacier-type damage. This debuff overrides both Embrittlement and Super Brittle. BADs and Boss Bloons also receive the damage debuff with the visual effect, but they are not slowed.

Additionally, it has an Activated Ability called Eclipse of Fimbulwinter. It has a 5-second delay before freezing every Bloon on screen for 10 seconds, although BADs and Bosses are only frozen for 5 seconds. If a Boss Bloon reaches a skull after getting frozen during the ability, the skull effects are skipped completely, and the Boss thaws early. It has a cooldown of 90 seconds and can only be used once per round. It can be used multiple times per Boss tier, but can only cancel the effects of one skull per Boss tier.

The editor that added this notice elaborates: Add screenshot or gif of doing each attack (two images please).

Herald of Everfrost has a single attack that alternates between four Ice Lance Beams and one Snowstorm Roar. Its base range is 46 units and has an attack cooldown of 4s at Degree 1.

Ice Lance Beam

[edit | edit source]

This attack is composed of two parts. First, the Ice Beam itself which is a short-lived blue-colored beam similar to Ray of Doom which travels instantly to the edge of the map ignoring blockers, it has a radius of 2 units and Bloons that are hit by it are frozen and grow icicles:

  • Freeze: It can freeze all Bloons, except BADs and Bosses, the effect lasts for 10s and affects up to 6 layers. It also and reduces Heat of Blastapopoulos by 600. It also deals additional damage, with the freeze applied before the damage.
  • Icicles: The Icicles damage other Bloons that touch them (except other Bloons affected by this effect). It lasts for 1.5s and each affected Bloon can re-hit the same target if it is still touching it after 0.2s.
  • The beam itself also creates an extra projectile on its initial hit, which can also freeze Bloons and grow icicles, but the extra projectile can not affected by degrees.

  • The Ice Beam deals 600 Normal damage with an additional +6,000 against bosses and has 500 pierce.
  • The freeze effect deals an additional 600 Normal damage, even if the target cannot be frozen.
  • The Icicles deal 10 Normal damage with an additional +40 for MOAB-Class Bloons and +300 for Boss Bloons. They have infinite pierce.
  • Bursts of shards are created every 0.2s.
  • Each Ice Shard deals 25 Normal damage with an additional +50 for MOAB-Class Bloons and +125 for Boss Bloons and has 25 pierce.

Snowstorm Roar

[edit | edit source]

Snowstorm Roar is a map-wide effect (still needs a target in range to use the attack in the first place) with infinite pierce that damages and applies several effects to all Bloons. Effects include:

  • Freezes all Bloons, except BADs and bosses, for 10s and lasts for 8 layers. It is applied after the damage and the duration for MOAB-Class Bloons is halved (5s).
  • Applies a Permafrost effect with infinite duration for the top 6 layers. The speed of MOAB-Class Bloons, except BADs and Bosses is reduced by 25%, and 50% for all other Bloons.
  • Applies an Embrittlement-like effect that debuffs all Bloons for 10s (all layers are affected), including BADs and Bosses, and causes them to take +8 damage from all attacks and +40 additional damage (total of +48) from attacks that deal Cold, Frigid, or Glacier-type damage. BADs and Bosses receive a visual effect to indicate that they are debuffed. It also overrides the debuffs from Embrittlement and Super Brittle.
  • Removes Camo and Regrow properties.
  • Removes Lead and Frozen immunities from all Bloons, with infinite duration.

At Degree 1:

  • It deals 10 Normal damage, with an additional +200 damage to already frozen Bloons.

This attack reduces the Heat of Blastapopoulos by 6,000.

Arctic Wind

[edit | edit source]

Herald of Everfrost has an aura that slows regular Bloons by 90% and MOAB-Class Bloons by 45% within 46 units. It does not affect BADs or Boss Bloons.

Global ice platforms

The editor that added this notice elaborates: Ice platforms of Monkeys on screen far away from the Herald

Activated Ability

[edit | edit source]

Herald of Everfrost's activated ability, Eclipse of Fimbulwinter,[1] causes the Herald of Everfrost to create a visual effect that darkens the entire map for 25 seconds and apply three effects to all Bloons on the map:

  • Global slow effect: Lasts for 25 seconds, starting at the moment the ability is activated. It slows Boss Bloons by 5%, BADs by 10%, and all other Bloons by 30%.
  • Freeze: This attack is applied 5 seconds after the ability is activated, affecting all layers and lasts for 10s. BADs and Boss Bloons are also frozen, but the duration is halved (5s). Frozen BADs move at 2.25 units/s and Bosses move at half speed.
  • Permafrost: It is applied at the same time as the freeze, lasting for 10s and slows regular Bloons by 75% and MOAB-Class Bloons by 50%, but it doesn't affect BADs or Boss Bloons.

The ability has a cooldown of 90 seconds and can only be used once per round. Additionally, Blastapopoulos heat bar is reduced by 10,000,000, effectively resetting it to zero.

  • Bloonarius: Does not spawn or scatter any Bloons.
  • Lych: Lych-souls do not appear, and Lych does not enter an immunity phase.
  • Vortex: It does not create a shield or stun towers, but does not get knocked backwards on the track.
  • Dreadbloon: It stays in its current immunity, skips the ceramic shield, and stops the spawn of Dreadrock Bloons. This effect cannot trigger while Dreadbloon has Primary immunity.
  • Phayze: Prevents the warp, keeping the Bloon spawn portal in its current position, if present, and also prevents it from setting up its Reality Shield. Its slow aura does not become stronger.
  • Blastapopoulos: Does not spawn fireballs or pyroclastic rocks, and its heat meter does not gain 25%.
  • Diamondback: Does not produce Diamond Bloons or other spawns, and one segment is not removed.

Strategy

[edit | edit source]
This section was last updated for: version 54.0

The Herald of Everfrost is a cheap but very effective supporting Paragon for Boss Events and Freeplay. Instead of DPS, its value comes from its massive bonus damage via Bloon debuffs and an ability capable of skipping Boss skull effects and freezing even BADs.

  • Bloonarius: Least effective matchup, since most Paragons already deal enough damage to deal with its minions by the late game. However, the ability's slowdown is effective against BAD spawns and limiting the Boss's progression on shorter maps.
  • Lych: Particularly on rounds with DDTs and Fortified DDTs, preventing a skull will avoid Lych-Soul and Resurrected Blimps. Additionally, not being able to become invulnerable allows better chaining of high-damage Paragon abilities, such as Goliath Doomship's Carpet Bomb.
  • Vortex: A double-edged sword, as the Boss would not be knocked back, but a detrimental tower stun can be avoided.
  • Dreadbloon: Its best matchup against all except Primary immunity, potentially skipping the non-Elite Support category completely and offering a significant Bloon damage debuff that makes unshielded Dreadbloon easier to handle by projectile spam strategies. Time just before destroying the Military or Magic skulls for the best results. Still effective against the Elite version but not as powerful due to the immunities looping twice.
  • Phayze: Good matchup, since it can prevent a warp and reduce the speed penalty of towers. Despite stripping Camo properties, Phayze will be immune to decamo for half the time, and can still be an anti-synergy with Ascended Shadow.
  • Blastapopoulos: Another very strong matchup, with the Bloon damage debuff and Heat Bar reductions assisting projectile spam strategies significantly. Skipping a skull effect is beneficial to limit Pyroclastic Rocks or Meteors where towers are close to the Boss.
  • Diamondback: Having an extra segment leaves more opportunity to hit multiple parts of the Boss at once, and make it easier to trigger its self-debuffs, though this also leaves more area to partially consume pierce.

Obtaining at least full uptime for the damage debuff requires Paragon of Power Paragon of Power and at least Degree 78, with this MK and Degree 91 together having about 103% uptime.

Ice Monkey’s paragon has caused a big stir with the powerful mechanics it brings to the table; uptime of its passive debuffs is being lowered as currently it maxes uptime too easily without degree investment and Embrittlement debuffs will no longer be stackable - only the highest tier Embrittlement debuff will take priority. Finally players responded with a lot of love for what Ice Paragon brings but also big annoyances with timing; for QoL we have changed the skull freeze from a debuff that has to be applied to a boss to be a simple active duration, this means is instead timing 1 exact frame for the debuff to be applied the effect will just be active for a duration and should work so long as a boss skull is triggered any time within that active duration.
— Update notes
  • Nerf Main attacks: Attack cooldown increased ― 3s → 4s (attack speed reduced by 25%)
  • Nerf Ice Lance Beam: Pierce reduced ― ∞ → 500
  • Nerf Snowstorm Roar: Now used every 5th attack instead of every 4th
  • Nerf Embrittlement debuff: Damage bonus reduced ― +10 → +8
  • Nerf Embrittlement debuff: No longer stacks Embrittlement and Super Brittle and will override them instead
  • Nerf Embrittlement debuff: No longer applies to the Shatter damage type
  • Buff Eclipse of Fimbulwinter: The time window to perform a skull skip on a Boss Bloon is increased ― 5s → 20s
    • Note: This window begins 5s seconds after the ability is activated (when the skulls in the health bar are frozen) and will last until the end of the ability (when the lighting returns to normal)
  • Nerf Eclipse of Fimbulwinter ability from Herald of Everfrost can now skip the first skull (undocumented)
  • Buff Eclipse of Fimbulwinter ability from Herald of Everfrost should no longer skip Dreadbloon's Skulls while in Primary immunity
Ice Paragon should now correctly deal increased damage to MOAB-Class Bloons
— Update notes
  • Buff Icicles & Shards: Bonus damage to MOABs corrected to bonus damage to all MOAB-class (bug fix)
