Pin is a helpful mid-game crosspath to stun Bloons below Ceramic. This is mainly a benefit to the main Engineer, because at least [[Sprockets (BTD6)|Sprockets]] is needed to allow sentries to pin.

Both 3-0-2 and 4-0-2 assist mid-game cleanup. 5-0-2 usually doesn't need the lower-tier stun unless on a difficult map format during mid-game.

For [[Cleansing Foam (BTD6)|Cleansing Foam]], Pin assists the slowdown of bloons, with the foam slowing all non-blimps including Ceramics by 50% briefly.
