Faster Rangs is the Boomerang Monkey's path 2 tier 2 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It reduces attack cooldown of its main attack by 33.3%, resulting in a 50% attack speed increase, for an overall attack speed increase of 100% over base Boomerang Monkey. Additionally, it increases projectile speed by 30%. For MOAB Press and MOAB Domination, their anti-MOAB kylies have 25% reduced attack cooldown (+33.33% attack speed) compared to Faster Throwing, for a total of 40% attack cooldown (or +66.67% attack speed). Glaive Lord's orbiting glaives are unaffected by the attack speed increase, although its ricocheting glaives are affected.

Faster Rangs is not efficient alone, due to its low cost efficiency compared to two 0-0-0 Boomerang Monkeys, thus relegating its use to being a crosspath. When crosspathed with Tier 2 Boomerang Monkeys, it becomes strong against dispersed rounds (such as 26) with 0-2-2, and strong against dense rounds (such as 27) with 2-2-0. Note that the latter is weaker in overall damage compared to 2-0-2, but is more reliable.
For Tier 3's and above, Faster Rangs is the better crosspath for Kylie Boomerang, and MOAB Domination, with both of them appreciating extra attack speed. MOAB Press prefers this crosspath when the map has more than one entrance per round and M.O.A.R Glaives uses it when buffed by Berserker Brew, but Glaive Ricochet does not prefer it under any scenario compared to Red Hot Rangs.
