Sharp Shots is the Dart Monkey's path 1 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It increases the pierce of the Dart Monkey's projectiles by 1. In the cases of Crossbow, Sharp Shooter, and Crossbow Master, the pierce of the projectiles is increased by 3, 3, and 8, respectively. This upgrade is unlocked by default on new accounts.

Strategy

It is not recommended to use Sharp Shots by itself, as the +1 pierce it grants is very inefficient compared to purchasing another 0-0-0 Dart Monkey. Thus, Sharp Shots is only used as a stepping stone for its higher tiers or as a crosspath. It is recommended for Path 2 Dart Monkeys, but not Path 3 Dart Monkeys. Purchasing it for crosspath benefits is only recommended once the Dart Monkey is tier 3, and crosspathing further to its succeeding upgrade, Razor Sharp Shots, is almost always recommended.
