Adora attacks by firing Divine Bolts that seek out Bloons, hitting up to five per shot. Her bolts deal Plasma-type damage, meaning that they can pop Lead Bloons, but not Purple Bloons or Glass Bloons. She does not have Camo detection. As she levels up, she fires more Divine Bolts at a time, her bolts can pop more Bloons, and her bolts deal more damage, especially to Fortified Bloons.
Long Arm of Light (level 3) — Increases her range and pierce and allows her to pop Purple Bloons for a short time. Deals more damage starting at level 16.
Blood Sacrifice (level 7) — Sacrifices a tower to gain XP and temporarily buff herself and nearby Sun Avatars, granting extra range and attack speed.
Ball of Light (level 10) — Spawns a temporary orb that fires lasers directly onto Bloons, similarly to Plasma Accelerator.
Adora's main attack fires Divine Bolts that seek out Bloons and deal Plasma-typedamage, and ignore line of sight. Unlike most seeking projectiles, Divine Bolts will decelerate if the target is not within a 30° cone of their current trajectory and accelerate if the target is within a 5° cone, allowing them to make much tighter turns in the air to avoid missing their targets. This seeking style is shared with the radial dart attack of Neva-Miss Targeting and its higher tiers. Adora shoots multiple Divine Bolts per shot at higher levels, which are spread 30° apart from each other. This attack gains the following benefits as Adora levels up:
Acquisition range increases by 5 units, and it now deals +1 damage to Fortified Bloons.

True Adora
If Adora is at level 20 and within range of a Sun Temple when it is upgraded into a True Sun God, Adora transforms into True Adora.[1] In this form, Adora's main attack deals +8 damage and has +30 pierce, and Ball of Light gains +80 damage and +35 pierce. She remains transformed even if the True Sun God is sold.
If the True Sun God transforms into a VTSG, Adora also transforms into Vengeful Adora.[2] Doing this for the first time on an account unlocks the Strangely Adorableachievement. Otherwise, the differences are purely cosmetic.
Abilities
The Long Arm of Light
The Long Arm of Light is unlocked at level 3. It temporarily doubles Adora's pierce and range, increases her projectile radius by 50%, and allows her projectiles to pop any type of Bloon for 10 seconds. Starting at level 16, it also increases her damage by 2 and lasts for 15 seconds. It has a 45-second cooldown.
Blood Sacrifice
Blood Sacrifice is unlocked at level 7. It destroys the selected tower and provides a buff that increases range and attack speed based on the total amount of cash spent on the sacrificed tower, as well as granting Adora XP equal to four times the cash amount (which is affected by Energizer, Scholarships, and Monkeys Together Strong). It has a 30-second cooldown.
The buff applies to Adora and all Sun Avatars, Sun Temples, and True Sun Gods within her range for 10 seconds. It increases range by 10% and reduces attack cooldown by 10%, plus 1% per $100 spent on the sacrificed tower, capping at +25% range and -25% cooldown (+33% attack speed) at $1,500 spent. At level 20, the duration is increased to 60 seconds and the cap is increased to +50% range and -50% cooldown (double attack speed) at $4,000 spent. If the buff is granted to towers that already have it, it does not stack the effects, but stronger versions of the buff will override weaker ones, and activating a weaker version while a stronger version is active will cause the weaker version to take over once the stronger version ends.
Ball of Light
Ball of Light is unlocked at level 10. It spawns a temporary sub-tower that orbits around Adora in a small anti-clockwise circle for 12 seconds. The ball fires lasers at Bloons with infinite range and matches Adora's current targeting option. It deals 3 Plasma damage every 0.05 seconds to up to 8 Bloons at a time and deals +3 damage to Fortified Bloons. It has a 60-second cooldown. Like other sub-towers, it can't be affected by Overclock.

Adora is a unique hero in how she has a great deal more value in spending cash to level her up faster, however she outperforms other heroes by too much regardless of this added cost. As her ability uptime is so incredibly good to the point of being completely spammable we’re increasing that cooldown slightly and reducing her base pierce in the higher levels so more thought must be required to utilize the large pierce increase she gains from usage of that ability. — Update notes
