Heavy Bombs is the Bomb Shooter's path 1 tier 2 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It increases the blast radius of the Bomb Shooter's bombs, increases their damage by +1, and their pierce by +10. This also affects the subclusters for Cluster Bombs and its subsequent upgrades, with the pierce of the tertiary clusters of Recursive Cluster and Bomb Blitz aining +30 pierce.

Strategy
Using Heavy Bombs as a standalone tower is not recommended, due to its extremely low single-target damage, inability to pop Black Bloons, and unreliability. However, one niche it has is the capability to skip the Black layers of Leads because of its multiple damage, but even then it's hard to justify. Thus, Heavy Bombs is only recommended for crosspathing with Tier 3+ Bomb Shooters.
Heavy Bombs is the optimal crosspath for Cluster Bombs, thanks to the +1 damage Heavy Bombs grants. Recursive Cluster prefers Heavy Bombs in Race Events and against Bloonarius due to greatly increased pierce, but 0-2-4's extra attack speed is more valuable elsewhere. Heavy Bombs is serviceable with Tier 3+ middle-path Bomb Shooters for extra pierce, but their base pierce is usually enough. Heavy Bombs is sub-par as a crosspath for Bomb Blitz, as it already has reliable group-popping and doesn't gain as much bonus damage.
