Avenger is the Desperado's path 3 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It increases the damage of the pistol attack from 6 to 18 and does +18 Ceramic damage, increases the knockback of the shotgun attack on Lead Bloons and Ceramic Bloons to -200%, -300% on light Bloon types, allows it to knock MOAB-Class Bloons back at -100% speed, and causes each shell to spray three shrapnel projectiles on contact with a Bloon, spread 120° apart each dealing 1 damage to up to 6 bloons (affected by

Avenger is a knockback-focused tower with low pierce, short range, and medium downtime between knockback attacks, and is generally quite weak. Since its knockback is a speed multiplier, it lacks much synergy with other slowdown effects, but it does want a Berserker Brew and Primary Training for better pierce and enjoys speed buffs in general.
With 2-0-4 in late game, Avenger can be placed some distance away from the track. This prevents it from targeting Ceramic Bloons, but the larger size of blimps lets it attack them while benefiting from a much larger Quickdraw boost, since that depends not on the nearest targetable point but the center of the nearest bloon while here there are no bloons even in range. Since its knockback is just as strong against ZOMGs as against MOABs, it should focus on stalling the strongest bloons to make the most of its low pierce. Setting on Strong usually accomplishes that.
