Super Range Tacks is the Tack Shooter's path 2 tier 2 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It increases range by +3.9 units, increases pierce from 1 to 4, and increases projectile lifespan. If purchased as a crosspath for Ring of Fire, Inferno Ring, or The Tack Zone, the pierce is increased from 30 to 45, 45 to 60, or 2 to 10, respectively. For The Tack Zone, the range bonus is +20 instead.

Strategy

The large pierce boost that Super Range Tacks grants makes it a very strong tower to start with on Race Events; with crosspaths (1-2-0 being the most cost-efficient of the lower-tiers), it can take out the first dozen rounds simultaneously when placed on a good bend. Elsewhere, Super Range Tacks is a strong early-game tower on maps with very good bends (which maximize its large pierce), but falls short on maps without them, where it is only recommended as a crosspath.
Super Range Tacks is the optimal crosspath for Hot Shots, which only has 1 pierce and benefits greatly from the +3 pierce that Super Range Tacks provides. Super Range Tacks is preferred for Ring of Fire when extra range is desired to reach the outskirts of bends, and for Inferno Ring when no pierce buffs can be obtained, but is suboptimal for Tier 3+ bottom-path Tack Shooters outside of Race Events.
The maximized crosspathed range provided by Super Range Tacks allows greater coverage on bends, though the main incentive is usually the pierce bonus. On some maps, such as Spillway, this Tack can reach areas that other Tacks cannot; in Spillway, it can attack if placed at the bottom of the map's barrel.
