Exploding Pineapple is the Monkey Ace's path 2 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It grants Monkey Ace an additional attack, which drops an explosive pineapple on the map at the Monkey Ace's location every 1.6 seconds (1.2 seconds with Rapid Fire). Pineapples explode after 2 seconds, creating a 35 radius blast that does 1 damage with 20 pierce (32 with Sharper Darts. Pineapple explosions cannot damage Black Bloons. With 
Targeted Pineapples, pineapples are only dropped on the track instead of anywhere.
Additionally, explosives from its other upgrade paths are improved:
- MOAB Missiles of Fighter Plane and subsequent upgrades +2 pierce and increased blast radius, and their missiles drop pineapples after exploding.
- Bombs of Spectre and Flying Fortress have their pierce increased by +10 or +15 respectively, and +3 blast radius.
Visually, each pineapple is timed from 3 and counts down to 1 before exploding, but each interval is faster than one second.

The pineapple attack is a cheap source of extra pierce, such as for Race Events with Ace starts, but its inconsistency due to the unreasonably long timer until exploding makes it incredibly problematic for cheap lead-popping. More often, it's bought for Spy Plane's innate camo detection, or supplement a niche to destroying dense groups for Spectre or Fighter Plane and above.
