Bloon Exclusion Zone is an expensive late game carry with incredible late-game damage and knockback. It can easily handle dense rounds and even the {{BTD6|BAD}}, but needs support to damage {{BTD6|DDT}}s. {{BTD6|Acidic Mixture Dip}} is the cheapest option and also boosts its damage, though this can be difficult space-wise. In this case it should be paired with 4 AMDs, two 2-2-0 and two 2-0-1, all isolated to only give AMD to the BEZ, with one upgraded to {{BTD6|Stronger Stimulant}}. Other anti-Lead options such as {{BTD6|Embrittlement}}, [[Glue Strike (BTD6)|Glue Strike]], or [[Monkey Intelligence Bureau (BTD6)|Monkey Intelligence Bureau]] still work. {{BTD6|Overclock}} is also a great support option for it, but is expensive to get given its own high cost.

Bloon Exclusion Zone is best placed near the end of tracks to shoot into bloons to more effectively handle Ceramics. It has great range, but is not quite global range when placed near the edge of the map. It is an especially great pick on [[Sanctuary]] due to the central choke point and center bloons spreading out allowing for all of the buckshot to hit targets.

2-0-5 does significantly more damage than 0-2-5 and gets better AMD uptime. Increased accuracy from [[Focused Firing (BTD6)|Focused Firing]] also greatly improves its damage output when firing down straight lines. 0-2-5's greater rate of Ceramic knockback is less relevant than extra raw damage due to BEZ's role shifting to high damage, unlike its predecessor, [[Bloon Area Denial System (BTD6)|Bloon Area Denial System]].
