Acidic Mixture Dip is the Alchemist's path 1 tier 2 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. Alchemist now throws a helpful potion to nearby towers that allows them to pop Lead Bloons, and grants +1 Ceramic damage, +1 Moab damage, and +1 Fortified Lead damage. This potion lasts 10 shots and can be stacked up to 30 shots.
Acidic Mixture Dip is the Alchemist's path 1 tier 2 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It grants the Alchemist a second attack that throws a potion on nearby towers, which grants them the Acidic Mixture Dip buff. This buff allows affected towers to pop Lead Bloons and grants them +1 damage to Ceramics, +1 to MOAB-Class Bloons, and +1 to Fortified Leads (these buffs are mutually exclusive). This buff lasts for 10 attacks and can be applied to the same tower multiple times to stack the number of attacks it lasts for, up to 30 in total.

The buff potion is thrown every 10 seconds at a random eligible tower in the Alchemist's radius, prioritizing towers which don't already have the buff. Most attacking towers are eligible for the buff, but the following cannot receive it:

* Glue Gunner without Corrosive Glue
* Alchemist
* Beast Handler
* Psi
* Etienne
* Benjamin
* Dungeon Statue
* Paragons

Acidic Mixture Dip (AMD) serves to give other towers lead popping in early game and boost their damage against late game Ceramics and blimps. Its lead popping is most effective on towers that attack slowly enough for high uptime, while its damage is most effective on towers that hit multiple times per attack such as Overdrive. In early game especially, a tower that spends a while not attacking will generally have the AMD buff for the next time they attack, which helps boost damage against the r40 MOAB, most notable with Bloonjitsu<!-- Overdrive doesn't hit the blimp with all its tacks at first -->. The buff is generally quick to wear off, however, and in groups of towers the random targeting drastically reduces its uptime on any given target.
When looking to buff a specific tower, try to isolate the Alchemist so the intended target is the only one in range, and buy 1 AMD per attack that tower does per second to push for 100% uptime. This is most often done with late game damage towers that want consistent DDT damage, have a slow attack rate, and enjoy the extra late game damage, such as Perma-Spike (1 AMD), 0-2-5 Icicle Impale (2 AMDs), and Bloon Exclusion Zone (4-5 AMDs). Icicle Impale can run 2-0-5 to pop lead that way, but loses out on 1.5x attack speed and freeze duration, while Perma-Spike and BEZ gain up to 10% more damage per hit with the buff.
In normal play, AMDs are always tossing out their buff whenever possible, so multiple AMDs can be desynced by manually controlling upgrade timings. However, attack cooldowns are not saved in game saves, ruining the desync upon leaving the game and rejoining.<!-- rlr preserves cooldown on other towers like Wall of Fire, unlike reloading saves, so wouldn't that specifically not be an issue? --> Past 3 attacks per second on a target tower, this can lead to AMD charges capping, in which case it is better to crosspath some AMDs with 2-0-1 to force them to desync.
Acidic Mixture Dip is rarely taken as a crosspath by other paths, as it does not boost the Alchemist's performance by itself. Lead to Gold generally wants to use 0-0-3 or 1-0-3 and avoid AMD, as this can steal lead pops. Unstable Concoction can use it if the AMD has a good target among other nearby towers. 2-2-0 is generally not used by itself, but its AMD buff is a nice bonus for Berserker Brew and above.
