Sharp Shurikens is mainly used to support its early-game defense, with increased shuriken pierce assisting in cleanup. For crosspaths, Sharp Shurikens is not important, as it only affects shuriken pierce, but can be marginally helpful for cleanup purposes. Higher-tier bottom path Ninjas can deal extra damage to stunned and stickied bloons, and the bonus shuriken pierce is worthwhile on [[Master Bomber (BTD6)|Master Bomber]] because of its significant damage bonuses.
