Crossbow is the Dart Monkey's path 3 tier 3 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It replaces the Dart Monkey's darts with a crossbow, which increases range from 48 to 60 (63 with 
Crossbow Reach), fires bolts that deal 3 damage instead of 1, can pop up to 4 Bloons at once instead of 2, and travel slightly faster and further.
With, Sharp Shots, shots gain +3 pierce, plus another +5 pierce (total of +8 pierce) with Razor Sharp Shots; in total, they have 7 and 12 pierce, respectively.

Strategy

Crossbow's main role is defeating early-game Camo Bloons, being able to solo all Camos that spawn before Round 40 on easier maps. On harder maps, straight lines are often difficult to find, making Crossbow miss its shots frequently. As such, Crossbow is typically set on Strong or Last to focus on popping stronger Bloons into manageable chunks.
0-2-3's increased consistency and single-target damage outweigh 2-0-3's extra pierce.
