Counter-Espionage is the Ninja Monkey's path 2 tier 2 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It allows all of Ninja Monkey's attacks to remove the Camo property from all Camo Bloons they damage. Every attack deals more damage to Camos (+2, with 5-2-0's shurikens and 0-2-3 Flash Bomb they both do +4), but because the decamo occurs after damage, this benefit only works on Phayze with an active Radar Jam.

Strategy

Although the cheapest decamo at lower tiers, Counter-Espionage is a weak decamo due to its insufficient pierce. Lower-tier Counter-Espionage struggles against round 47's spaced Camo Pinks and starting from round 56's grouped Camo Rainbows. 0-2-3 Flash Bomb is worse than other DDT decamos unless given enough Shinobi Tactics, and Shinobis themselves in large groups usually cover decamo of all except DDTs. However, due to having bonus Camo damage if the Camo property isn't stripped, this crosspath is beneficial in Ninja-centric strategies for maximizing damage on Phayze, which can sometimes be immune to decamo.

For an early game Distraction improvement the consistency of blowbacks is being averaged out more with increased minimum distance but reduced maximum, in many cases there would not actually be 250 units of track length in front of defenses to be blown back across anyway so the overall average distance is slightly lower. More at the mid to endgame we are also weakening distraction distance against Ceramics specifically as by this point Ninja have stacked so much speed and projectiles the consistency doesn’t matter anymore.
