Glaive Ricochet is the Boomerang Monkey's path 1 tier 3 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It increases the pierce of its glaives to 15 (45 with Extra Bounce Extra Bounce), and allows them to bounce from Bloon to Bloon, with a maximum jump distance of 80 units. Additionally, it allows glaives to travel through line-of-sight blockers (though it does not allow Boomerang Monkey to see through them) and it increases projectile speed from 175 to 220.

Glaive Ricochet is a cheap early-game tower with high cleanup potential on single-lane maps, but it falls off greatly against multiple far-apart lanes. Due to its low single-target damage, it is bad against Ceramic Bloons and above. It is an excellent tower for Race Events with its high pierce allowing many round sends, especially with Extra Bounce Extra Bounce.

3-0-2 is the optimal crosspath, granting the capability to pop Lead Bloons and skip layers with the higher damage.

Boomerang’s Ricochet buildup into T4 feels rough compared to many other options that exist nowadays, ignoring obstacles worked out as a strong fix for the T4 so we want to bring that down to the T3 as well along with some other general tweaks to bridge this gap.
