Larger Service Area is the Engineer Monkey's path 2 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It increases the range of all the Engineer Monkey's attacks by 50%. If crosspathed with Sentry Gun or above, it also increases the attack range of the Sentries by +4. If crosspathed with Bloon Trap, the player can set the point where traps are deployed to anywhere within the Engineer Monkey's range.

Strategy
Larger Service Area as a standalone upgrade allows the Engineer to reach further, so it can target bloons earlier. However, the main value of Larger Service Area is its crosspathing benefits.
Bloon Trap gains an important utility when crosspathed with Larger Service Area, allowing traps to be repositioned to a convenient location, especially where the Engineer itself won't easily "steal" pops from the traps.
Extra range for the sentry deployment can be sometimes detrimental, as this can make sentry placement more erratic, even with the benefit of extra range of the sentries themselves.
