'''Grand Saboteur''' is the [[Ninja Monkey (BTD6)|Ninja Monkey]]'s path 2 tier 5 [[upgrade]] in ''[[Bloons TD 6]]''. It upgrades Ninja Monkey's [[Bloon Sabotage (BTD6)|Bloon Sabotage]] ability, increasing its duration from 15 seconds to 30 seconds. While active, the upgraded ability deals 25% percent damage to all new [[MOAB-Class Bloon|MOAB-Class Bloons]] that spawn, including [[BAD (BTD6)|BADs]] but not [[Boss Bloon|Boss Bloons]]. The ability also grants a buff to all Ninja Monkeys on screen with the [[Shinobi Tactics (BTD6)|Shinobi Tactics]] upgrade, increasing their range by +10 [[Unit|units]] and increasing their [[MOAB-Class damage]] by +2.

 

The new sabotage allows the slow effect to receive damage buffs which allow the Grand Saboteur's ability to damage all Bloons on screen and all new Bloons that spawn. The ability deals damage to Bloons that are under effects of a damage-increasing debuffs before activating.

Since [[Ascended Shadow]] now grants a permanent HP reduction to incoming blimps, Grand Saboteur's value is mostly relegated to the bonus MOAB-class damage for nearby [[Shinobi Tactics (BTD6)|Shinobis]] during its ability. Regardless, Grand Saboteur's ability is still a great way to accrue max pops for the Ascended Shadow. Buffs such as [[Gerry's Fire]] and [[Total Transformation (BTD6)|Total Transformation]] are among the many standout synergies with Grand Saboteur, in some cases rivalling other T5 Ninja strategies for the cost to set up.
