Glaives serves as a solid early-game with {{BTD6 mk|Recurring 'Rangs}}, which allows its pierce to be maximized. In this case, it can be crosspathed further into 2-0-2 to maximize its power into the latter part of mid-game. Without Recurring 'Rangs, Glaives can still be used to thin out dense early-game rounds, but is unreliable on its own and mainly sees use as a crosspath for higher-tier Boomerang Monkeys.
