Bigger Blast is the Mortar Monkey's path 1 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It increases the pierce of Mortar Monkey's shells by +20 and increases the radius of all attacks by 1.4x. The main blast increases radius from 20 to 28.
If Signal Flare is purchased, this upgrade increases the decamo blast's pierce by +40. If Shattering Shells is purchased, this upgrade increases the pierce of the de-regrow and de-fortify by +20. If Blooncineration is purchased, this upgrade increases the pierce of its walls of fire by +16 and a larger radius.

Bigger Blast is powerful in the early game of Race Events, packing a huge pierce increase on top of increased blast radius, but otherwise is generally used only as a stepping stone or crosspath. If crosspathing with Bigger Blast, it is almost always recommended to continue crosspathing into Bloon Buster, because of the improved DPS. Signal Flare's decamo rarely pierce-caps outside of Race Events and CT Time Attack, as well as round 78, but less consistent outside of wide bends when compared to Rapid Reload.
