Super Glue is the Glue Gunner's path 3 tier 5 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It improves Glue Gunner's glue effect, completely stopping non-MOAB-Class Bloons and slowing MOAB-Class Bloons by a much greater amount for a short duration. This upgrade increases its pierce by 5, and after gluing it deals 1 base damage (which is not affected by damage buffs), plus a separate 30 MOAB-class damage DoT that triggers every 0.95 seconds for 1 second that immediately begins damaging when applied, and increases duration of the normal slowdown versus MOAB-class from 12 to 18 seconds. The on-pop splat has its pierce increased from 6 to 11, can stun BFBs and ZOMGs, and all stunnable blimps are stunned for 1 second.

Unlike most Glue Gunners, Super Glue can hit Bloons which are already glued by itself, resetting the glue's effect. With middle crosspaths, it gains +1 pierce from Bigger Globs, and with Glue Splatter each splatter has 10 pierce. Corrosive Glue allows all its on-pop splats to benefit from damage buffs and deal 1 base damage, and the corrosion damage increases to 21 plus another +19 to MOAB-Class Bloons.

Strategy

Super Glue's ability to stun BFBs and ZOMGs makes it much more versatile, unlike Relentless Glue, which is limited to supporting against MOABs and DDTs. Compared to its competitor, Icicle Impale, Super Glue is cheaper and has a stronger slowing effect, but deals significantly less damage and requires support for the Super Ceramics it lacks pierce for. Unlike Icicle Impale, Sauda and Pop and Awe synergize well with Super Glue, as these towers deal massive damage to Bloons and blimps that are stunned.

Super Glue works the best on maps with one lane per round or lanes that all intersect, such as Workshop or Midnight Mansion, where the popped splats can have their pierce maximized. However, it is still usable on other maps.

0-2-5 is the better crosspath for Super Glue in almost all scenarios, allowing it to maximize its support role. 2-0-5 does more damage but not enough to give up pierce, and its synergy with The Final Harmonic (which only counts the Corrosive Glue DoT) is minor.

Super Glue currently fits a role of essentially a weaker Ice Impale that is also much more expensive (and, well, worse). For now the cost has been cut substantially to keep their function and value balanced.

We were unsure this rework would make it in at all until late and didnt want to mess around too much further before release, so we plan to make further refinements to the numbers in order to bring power properly in line with what we would like - however the long awaited mechanic rework for Relentless & Super Glue is here and we feel it is a promising start. Relentless Glue now brings some AoE stun on layer popping and glue track puddles has been reworked into a dps enhancement for the top path Bloon Solver instead of a hyper niche bottom path stalling bonus (the more ceramics the merrier!).

Super Glue isn’t a big upgrade to Relentless Glue for the high cost so we're setting it at a different price point to other similar role towers, but also hitting it with a larger full rework of number shuffling, with more of the damage it deals coming from the DoT rather than the initial impact making it easier for DoT to self-trigger glue explosions and act as a buff to the 205 crosspath along with the base pierce of the glue explosions being higher.
