Glaives is the Boomerang Monkey's path 1 tier 2 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It replaces the Boomerang Monkey's boomerangs with glaives, which have increased pierce (from 8 to 13, a +5 pierce increase) and increased projectile size. When used as a crosspath for MOAB Press, the pierce of the heavy knockback kylies is improved by 120 and the kylies' knockback distance is increased by 50%. MOAB Domination gains the aforementioned benefits by crosspathing with Glaives, along with +10 pierce and +50% radius to the heavy kylies' explosion, and much more main kylie pierce.

Strategy

Glaives serves as a solid early-game with 
Recurring 'Rangs, which allows its pierce to be maximized. In this case, it can be crosspathed further into 2-0-2 to maximize its power into the latter part of mid-game. Without Recurring 'Rangs, Glaives can still be used to thin out dense early-game rounds, but is unreliable on its own and mainly sees use as a crosspath for higher-tier Boomerang Monkeys.
Glaives is the optimal crosspath for Bionic Boomerang and Turbo Charge, both of which obtain greatly increased damage output from the increased pierce. Perma Charge prefers Glaives when de-Leading for DDT has been obtained or is also needed for other towers, and Glaives is optimal MOAB Press when the map has one entrance per round, maximizing its pierce and knockback. For Kylie Boomerang and MOAB Domination, Glaives is the sub-optimal crosspath due to both of them benefitting much more from increased attack speed.
