Combination attack! Alternates flash bombs that stun many Bloons and shuriken deal increased damage to stunned targets.

Flash Bomb is the Ninja Monkey's path 3 tier 3 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. Each of its shuriken gain +4 Stunned damage and +2 pierce, and every 4th shuriken attack is replaced with a flash bomb attack. Flash bombs explode on impact, with 40 blast radius, dealing 3 damage, with 30 pierce, and stunning the outer layer of non-MOAB-Class Bloons for 1.3 seconds. Flash bombs can damage every Bloon type. With the 0-1-3 crosspath, the flash bomb gains a 30% chance (32.5% chance with
Diversion Tactics) to distract Bloons. With the 0-2-3 crosspath, the flash bomb additionally decamos bloons.

Strategy
Flash Bomb gives a notable improvement to the shuriken attack; however, the Ninja still attacks too slowly for the flash bomb to be consistent enough, even with the top crosspath. As a standalone tower Flash Bomb performs poorly, especially in the mid-game due to the bomb often getting pierce-capped, but it can be used in Shinobi strategies for it to be a decent Ceramic control and support with enough attack speed and pierce buffs. Otherwise, it is best used simply as a stepping stone to Sticky Bomb.
Generally, crosspaths with path 1 are preferred because of its attack speed buff, in the same way it is preferred for Sticky Bomb and Master Bomber. Ninja Discipline's attack speed boost is even better than it looks at first glance because it often allows the Ninja Monkey to hit Bloons stunned by its last bomb with a third shuriken, just before the stun wears off, thus taking more advantage of its bonus damage to stunned Bloons. Sharp Shurikens is a niche further upgrade that makes it even better at damaging stunned Bloons to help with cleanup. 0-2-3 is heavily outclassed as a camo remover by Signal Flare and Submerge and Support and should only be used if no other option is available.

For an early game Distraction improvement the consistency of blowbacks is being averaged out more with increased minimum distance but reduced maximum, in many cases there would not actually be 250 units of track length in front of defenses to be blown back across anyway so the overall average distance is slightly lower. More at the mid to endgame we are also weakening distraction distance against Ceramics specifically as by this point Ninja have stacked so much speed and projectiles the consistency doesn’t matter anymore.
