Elite Sniper is the Sniper Monkey's path 2 tier 5 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It increases Sniper Monkey's attack speed (x0.4 attack cooldown or +150% more attack speed). Elite Sniper also grants a global attack speed buff to all other Sniper Monkeys (x0.75 attack cooldown or +33% more attack speed).
Elite Sniper increases the amount of cash generated from its ability from $1,100 to $3,000, and upon purchase its ability's cooldown is reset to 90 seconds. Elite Sniper also grants a new "Elite" targeting option for itself and all other Sniper Monkeys.

Elite targeting changes behavior depending on the state of the Bloons currently on the map. In order from highest priority to lowest priority:
#Targets First if there are any visible Bloons that are at least 75% of the way to reaching the exit.
#Targets the strongest non-MOAB-Class Bloon that spawns multiple children when popped. After round 80, all non-MOAB-Class Bloons stop spawning multiple children, so this behavior no longer occurs. Before round 81, this order is:

Elite Sniper is good for general gameplay, performing well throughout the mid-game while generating solid amounts of income. In CHIMPS, it is significantly weakened, but it remains serviceable when used in a Sniper spam strategy.
Elite Sniper on its own is a cleanup tower specializing against groups of Bloons, with its high attack speed and high pierce making it perform well in this role. Its cleanup capability falls off somewhat against Super Ceramic Bloons but remains decent. However, its weak single-target damage makes it generally not recommended for standalone use in CHIMPS. 0-5-2 is the recommended crosspath for Elite Sniper, solidifying its cleanup role due to increased attack speed enhancing its reliability and synergizing better with Berserker Brew, compared to 2-5-0 which is more self-sufficient but much less reliable on simultaneous-lane maps.
There are three Sniper spam strategies commonly used with Elite Sniper: 0-2-5 Elite Defender + Full Auto Rifles + Permanent Brew, Axis of Havoc, and 2-0-5 Elite Defender + Bouncing Bullets. Axis of Havoc can be used on all maps, the former is useful on maps with placements for the Sniper to shoot Bloons while they travel towards it (such as Infernal (right island) and Muddy Puddles (bottom-middle section)), while the latter is useful on maps without such placements.

==Trivia== | |||
*Supply Drop and Elite Sniper fire a real-life signal flare upon ability activation. This is ironically more realistic than Signal Flare itself.
